ResponsibilitiesSubstitute teacher aides to cover daily Paraprofessional staff absences. Under the guidance of certified staff, assist students with special needs, including behavioral, emotional, academic, and daily activities. Support students in following schedules, diapering needs, and help ensure the success of students in meeting their IEP goals.
QualificationsMust hold a valid Illinois ELS (Paraprofessional) license or Professional Educator License (PEL). Physical ability to assist students throughout the building is required. Basic math, computer, and office skills are necessary. Experience with special needs children is preferred. Good communication skills are essential for interacting with staff, parents, and students.
