Lead Estimator

Compensation: Starting at $120,000 and up depending on experience.

Divergent Alliance is seeking a Lead Estimator who is ready to own the estimating function and drive growth. This role is for someone who executes, not someone who delegates the work to others.

• Lead estimating for overhead, underground, substation, and transmission projects
• Build unit pricing and maintain an accurate cost database
• Track project performance and support forecasting
• Prepare takeoffs, pricing, scopes, schedules, and proposal packages
• Identify bid opportunities and submit RFP responses
• Work with operations to ensure constructability and accuracy
• Develop processes for standard estimating and repeatability
• Support business development by leveraging industry relationships

• Proven estimating experience in electric utility construction
• Solid understanding of project tracking and cost control
• Ability to work independently and own deliverables
• A network that can help generate opportunities
• Strong Excel, takeoff, and estimating software skills
• Excellent attention to detail and urgency to meet deadlines
