Role DescriptionThe Home Care Sales & Marketing Specialist is a full-time role based in Algonquin, IL. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources such as hospitals, clinics, senior centers, and community organizations to drive new client inquiries. The specialist will conduct in-person outreach, attend networking events, and present Senior Helpers' services to families and professionals. Day-to-day activities include coordinating marketing campaigns, managing social media and local advertising initiatives, tracking leads in a CRM system, and following up with prospective clients to guide them through the intake process.
The role also collaborates closely with care coordination and office staff to ensure that new clients receive timely, appropriate services and that community messaging consistently reflects the organization’s mission.
- Candidates should possess skills in Home Care and Elder Care, with an understanding of services that support older adults living safely at home.
- Candidates should possess skills in Personal Care and Caregiving, including familiarity with non-medical support and the needs of seniors and their families.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal communication, professional writing, and effective presentation abilities.
- Experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within healthcare, home care, or senior services.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with community partners, referral sources, and client families.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage leads, appointments, and outreach activities efficiently.
- Comfort with using CRM systems, basic office software, and social media platforms for marketing and lead generation.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally for meetings and events.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, or a related field is preferred.
