Potbelly Sandwich Works is looking for friendly, outgoing individuals to join our daytime team (8 am–4 pm). This role supports our customers in a fast‑paced, casual environment and contributes to delivering high‑quality sandwiches and service.

• Work multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front) as directed.
• Maintain food, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Restock ingredients, chips, and cooler.
• Prepare finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, etc.) efficiently.
• Handle cash register and balance cash procedures.
• Resolve customer complaints and take delivery/catering orders over the phone.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Friendly and customer‑service oriented.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Can handle kitchen heat; knife skills are a plus.
• Team player who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• Able to manage potential allergens.
• Can stand/walk a minimum of 3 hours as needed, meet at least 16 years of age.
• Can lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Illinois applicants required to obtain food‑safety certification within 30 days.
• For candidates 18 or older, use of the automatic slicer to prep food items.
