Do you like serving customers and doing everything you can to make them happy? Do you like working in a fast, ever‑changing environment with new shops, fashion, and technology? A seasonal cashier at JCPenney might be the position for you!

The seasonal cashier is a position that is always on the lookout for customers who need assistance or merchandise that needs to be restocked. As a seasonal hire you will have a defined employment time period, and your manager will communicate your last day as the peak season comes to an end.

• Assist customers:
  Seek out customers and do everything possible to make their experience great from the sales floor to the register. Listen, help, and make them want to return.
• Adjust to customer flow:
  Always be on the move and available to provide assistance to customers or co‑workers.
• Maintain product presentation:
  Continuously adjust displays to showcase the latest fashion and merchandise trends.
• Replenish and restock the store:
  When merchandise is running low, identify where to get more to ensure all customers have the styles and sizes they need.
• Participate in a learning environment:
  Absorb new information from peers or training materials on our merchandise or business processes.

For paid holidays, associates eligible for paid vacation (MTO) are also eligible for eight paid holidays during the calendar year. All store hourly associates scheduled to work on a designated holiday will receive additional compensation.
