Business Development Associate

Bluebono is an integrated real estate private credit platform specializing in short-term commercial and residential investment lending, development financing, structured private credit, residential mortgage solutions, and investor capital programs. We support a wide ecosystem of developers, brokers, mortgage bankers, and institutional/private investors through data-driven underwriting, flexible loan programs, and high-integrity credit governance.

Our platform spans fix-and-flip, construction, bridge, second-lien, and capital partners across onshore/offshore structures. We are scaling rapidly and building sophisticated analytics-driven systems to support loan intake, credit evaluation, pricing, and partner-facing workflows.

The Business Development Associate (Operations & Analytics Track) is a hybrid role combining deal operations, pipeline execution, financial/credit analysis, and technical automation support. Ideal candidates have a strong finance foundation and are comfortable writing scripts, building models, integrating APIs, and improving operational workflows.

This role is suited for someone who understands real estate lending and underwriting mechanics but also enjoys building tools, automating processes, and supporting technology development within a high-growth private credit platform.

• Manage loan intake, collect required documents, and ensure complete/accurate submissions.
• Verify borrower, property, and project information; flag inconsistencies and potential risks.
• Prepare intake packages and support underwriting with structured deal summaries.
• Run financial models (LTV/ARV, DSCR, construction budgets, interest reserves).
• Analyze comps, market data, and property metrics to support credit decisions.
• Build automation tools and scripts (Python/SQL) to streamline operations and data workflows.
• Improve and maintain CRM processes, internal portals, and data integrations.
• Create dashboards and reports for pipeline tracking, performance metrics, and investor needs.
• Coordinate with underwriting, operations, BD, and capital markets to ensure timely deal execution.
• Support investor reporting, capital program analytics, and internal data preparation.
• Research market trends, competitor programs, and regional real estate data to inform strategy.
• Provide insights on workflow optimization, pricing, and program development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in real estate lending, private credit, mortgage banking, investment analysis, or operations.
• Strong coding proficiency in Python, SQL, R, or similar (Python preferred).
• Strong understanding of key lending concepts: LTV, ARV, DSCR, interest reserves, lien ratios, construction budgets.
• Highly organized, detail-driven, and able to manage multiple deals in a fast-moving environment.

• Experience building automation scripts, ETL workflows, or integrations.
• Familiarity with CRM systems (Hub Spot, Salesforce, or custom).
• Understanding of compliance requirements (CFL/RESPA distinctions, commercial vs. consumer loan rules).
• Experience supporting capital markets, investor relations, or performance analytics.
• Exposure to underwriting or credit committee processes.
