Your Role:

As a Claims Resolution Manager, you'll play a vital role in managing and resolving claims related to accidents and incidents involving our company equipment and personnel. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining loss files and entering new loss records into our computer system.
• Investigating accidents to determine our financial liability.
• Filing accurate and timely letters/reports with claimants and their insurance companies.
• Analyzing claim documentation and evaluating damage estimates and injury reports.
• Negotiating claim settlements to minimize our financial liability.
• Resolving claims involving serious personal damages.
• Monitoring, negotiating, and resolving cargo claims.
• Maintaining good customer relations when claims, accidents, or injuries involve our company and a customer's goods, equipment, or personnel.
• Collaborating with various departments and assisting drivers with claim information.
• Ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Handling charge-backs and generating necessary reports.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualities and qualifications:

• Experience in the trucking industry and liability is preferred but not required; we're willing to train individuals with the right attitude.
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail, with a sense of urgency.
