Mill Operator

Hourly payrate $25.94 – $33.16 per hour

Schedule 7am-7pm & 7pm-7am, rotation weekly

• Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a plant setting.
• Responsible for operating plant Mill equipment.
• Responsible for operating front end loaders.
• Responsible for performing some routine maintenance on equipment.
• Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision.
• Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.

• Able to work in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all plant safety rules and practices.
• Ability to recognize unsafe conditions, acts and hazards within work area.
• Ability to interpret verbal instructions and written documents.
• Ability to apply basic computer skills required for data entry and reporting.
• Maintain a high standard for housekeeping within the work area.
• Some experience with process computers is preferred.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• A general understanding of continuous manufacturing processes, with the ability to visualize the process and its interactions, is desired.
• Ability to make process adjustments.
• Computer skills to review or revise documents in Microsoft Office Programs is desired.

• Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
