The Assistant Maintenance Technician’s role is to maintain the facilities for Eureka Multifamily Group’s Properties, including but not limited to the property grounds and common areas in the best possible condition. The Assistant Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. They ensure that heating and plumbing systems perform at optimum functionality, the installations HVAC, and the upkeep of the landscape.

• Make and/or assist with general appliance repairs, carpet repairs and minor A/C and electrical repairs.
• Perform and/or assist with carpentry work, painting and plumbing duties.
• Install appliances and electrical fixtures as required.
• Move appliances, with assistance, using an appliance dolly.
• Assist lead maintenance in maintaining a clean and orderly shop.
• Participate in an ongoing property improvement plan and preventative maintenance program.
• Adhere to and comply with company safety policies and rules. Adhere to OSHA safety standards that are applicable for safe job performance.
• Walk property to inspect grounds for any issues that need to be addressed, make repairs and report to management immediately.
• Other duties as assigned.

Additionally, the employee may work indoors as well as in an outdoor environment and is exposed to adverse weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment may be moderate to high.
