• Ensure compliance of the hiring and certifying of all drivers, independent contractors, independent contractor drivers and brokers with all applicable Department of Transportation and PGT Trucking Rules and Regulations.

• Maintains current knowledge of Department of Transportation rules and regulations. Communicates all applicable Department of Transportation rules and regulations to department supervisor and director.
• Ensures all drivers, Independent Contractors, Independent Contractor Drivers and Carriers for Brokerage meet qualification requirements of D.O.T. and PGT Trucking, Inc. at time of hiring/qualification.
• Accurately enters all drivers, Independent contractors, Independent Contractor Drivers, equipment, and brokers into the TMW-AS400 system, Swift Reach, & Supervision.
• Works with current Driver Recruiters to process and onboard new drivers.
• Recommends new methods, processes and/or systems which when implemented would facilitate or improve performance in area of responsibility.
• Assists in arranging travel for new driver recruits from across the country to PA for training.
