Manages all drivers who are broken down, ensuring expedited and cost-controlled resolutions to situations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage drivers that call in with breakdowns and ensure timely communication.
- Ensure proper diagnostic evaluations are completed to identify root causes and determine solutions.
- Determine the best route of action and manage drivers accordingly.
- Preview and verify all estimated costs, and obtain all necessary approvals.
- Manage drivers and incidents by ensuring communication with all departments regarding status, costs, and estimated downtimes.
- Manage outside vendors to ensure timely repairs and service.
- Maintain computer systems accurately and promptly.
- Maintain good relationships with drivers while managing repairs.
- Perform other related duties as required by business needs or as assigned by management.
- Manage all reports and distribute information to key stakeholders.
- Oversee all breakdowns exceeding 12 hours and ensure communication with Maintenance, Operations, and Drivers.
