About the Role

As a Staffing Coordinator at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will be responsible for scheduling Nurses, Med Techs and Caregivers, coordinating time‑off requests, tracking overtime, creating daily assignment sheets, scheduling breaks and tracking attendance. This position supports the Director of Resident Care Services with resident files and clerical duties. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in their work, and demonstrates empathy.

They excel in a fast‑paced, physically active position, collaborate effectively, and embrace a growth mindset, prioritizing exceptional hospitality and helping seniors to thrive as they age.

Your Typical Responsibilities
  • Coordinate 24‑hour work schedules, including coverage for call‑offs and approved time‑off requests using On Shift scheduling software Spartan.
  • Effectively manage staffing schedules to fairly distribute work hours, keep overtime to a minimum, and minimize contract labor hours.
  • Coordinate new‑hire training and support new employee orientation process.
  • Data entry and administrative clerical support related to department supplies, payroll, time & attendance in Kronos.
  • Make hospitality, customer service, and resident satisfaction your top priorities in every interaction.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated success with MS Office suite, including basic Excel experience.
  • Proficient reading, comprehension, writing and mathematical ability.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
  • Capable of handling confidential information responsibly.
  • Demonstrates initiative and reliable critical thinking skills.
  • Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
