Position: IT Support Technician (Temp)

Job Description:

  • Support associates with setting up or replacing workstations and peripherals, processing new hire and separation requests, and documenting tasks or tickets.
  • Provide timely level I technical support for onsite and remote end-users, focusing on excellent customer service.
  • Image workstations with default OS using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager for deployment.
  • Coordinate hardware replacements and data transfer with associates.
  • Manage tickets via the IT helpdesk system, escalating and resolving issues.
  • Schedule hardware repairs or replacements with vendors.
  • Update user accounts and data in Active Directory, and archive user data.
  • Wipe data from leased workstations for shipment back to vendors.
  • Set up and configure new Windows desktops/laptops and mobile devices for new hires.
  • Perform hardware troubleshooting on workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Install and support enterprise applications like Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Follow IT procedures for incidents and changes.
  • Participate in meetings and projects as assigned by IT management.
  • Maintain IT hardware inventory.
  • Understand single sign-on and multifactor authentication technologies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Information Systems or related field.
  • Up to one year of experience in an IT help desk, support, or customer service role.
  • Basic understanding of IT hardware and Microsoft products.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
