Job Description
Support the development and transfer of new chemical products as well as the sustainment of finished goods by verifying material release specifications, maintaining manufacturing and testing processes, and implementing equipment and raw materials to ensure production demands are met.
Job duties:
- Interface with other departments to solve production problems.
- Sustain manufacturing processes for current products.
- Support the validation activities for chemistry products.
- Perform and report analytical testing.
- Investigate non-conformances/out-of-specification testing results.
- Synthesize chemical monomers following validated manufacturing procedures.
- Day-to-day tasks performed under supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned (e.g., create presentations, reports, etc.).
$57,343-$71,679. Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than what is listed, and will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field of study.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office:
Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
- Ability to read and prepare technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of standard laboratory equipment, synthetic organic transformations, wet test methods, and qualitative and quantitative measurements.
