Job DescriptionSupport the manufacturing processes, which may include, but are not limited to, assembly, chemistry, injection molding, or equipment design of products. Ensure materials, documents, and processes are compliant with the established company practices and procedures. Aid in researching innovative ideas and contribute to process optimization initiatives through continuous improvement projects. Focus is on both theoretical and practical solution development through the application of the scientific process.
Responsibilities- Work with a variety of process and manufacturing equipment.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and repair common equipment failures.
- Provide operator training and monitor document conformance.
- Identify and correct common process or manufacturing issues.
- Support production or process development as required.
- Responsible for manufacturing line support via execution of equipment qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ), equipment purchases, process improvement initiatives, etc.
- Perform in-process / release / validation testing and report results.
- Responsible for instrumentation maintenance and upkeep.
- Draft controlled documentation including, but not limited to, component drawings, tooling qualification, and equipment specification.
- Maintain laboratory raw material and supplies.
- Perform day-to-day tasks under supervision.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements, and demonstrate ethics and integrity in all matters.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
$16.88 - $22.43 per hour. Compensation packages may vary depending on experience, education, geography, and market demand.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of related work experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
- Good laboratory or manufacturing practices and the ability to follow required safety procedures.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
- Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.
- Computer skills including Auto-Cad or Solid Works.
- Knowledge of materials, heat treatment, and plating.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
