You Are:

The Quality Assurance Associate shall be responsible for providing Quality Assurance support of Nutritional and Dietary Supplement products at external (contract) manufacturing sites engaged in the production of Nutritional and Dietary Supplements.

The opportunity:
  • Act as Primary point of contact with the EM site(s)
  • Deviation, OOS, and Non‑Conformance situation root cause analysis and investigations.
  • Review first article of inspection, review labels
  • Writing reports
  • Potential participation on new product development teams, including coordination with Technical Transfer team, to ensure that all projects meet specified QA launch requirements and timelines.
  • Review of specifications and validation documentation related to base business projects and new product introductions.
  • Routine interaction with internal business partners and external manufacturing sites, in support of commercialization and documentation readiness.
  • Troubleshoots quality problems, provides thorough and practical assistance in the resolution of process / product non‑conformance events, and assists in the development of corrective actions to prevent recurrence, leveraging Quality Systems.
  • Review of process / product‑related documentation

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What you need:
  • Education:

    Bachelor's in Chemistry or any related field
  • QA Experience strongly preferred in the Nutritionals and Dietary Supplement industry, or potentially the Food industry with relevant experience.
  • Experience in a GMP facility
  • Years of experience 4-5 years

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Compensation Range: $80,000-$120,000

Benefits

Full‑time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company's 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short‑term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.
