Staff Software Engineer - Supply Platform rid location:
Aliso Viejo, CA (3 days in office / 2 days remote).

We seek Staff Software Engineers to design and develop next-generation technologies and complex features that transform how millions of users explore, interact with, and participate in live events worldwide. Staff Engineers are integral to developing the team s commercial and product strategy and lead with both technical and business judgment.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) – Aliso Viejo, CA

The Supply Platform team aims to ensure that managing all seller ticket inventory coming into and out of Stub Hub is blazing fast. The team owns services that keep tickets up to date, provide fraud protection, and meet country-specific legal requirements, enabling easy listing and selling while meeting SLAs at scale.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain impactful improvements that cross the frontend and backend code across Stub Hub s platforms and products, delivering high-quality outcomes
• Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices across codebases
• Manage individual initiative priorities, deadlines, and deliverables with technical expertise
• Mentor other team members and help increase technical capabilities, fostering inclusion, results-oriented execution, open innovation, and creativity

• 10+ years of professional experience in software development
• Extensive experience developing robust, mission-critical systems using multiple general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Java, C#)
• Expertise in building software in Infrastructure, Databases, Data Processing, Machine Learning, Distributed Systems, Security, or Privacy
• Experience designing and developing solutions to complex problems with significant business impact
• Strong understanding of how systems interact with the broader production environment, including dependencies and platform primitives
• Proven ability to learn other coding languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools
• Experience owning projects from idea to production
• Experience mentoring junior engineers

The anticipated gross base pay range is $300,000—$350,000 USD. Actual compensation varies by qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base salary is part of Stub Hub s total compensation and benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
