Sr. Software Engineer

Overview

Sr. Software Engineer role  position will report to the Director of Engineering and develop REST services for Transcepta’s flagship SaaS solution. Transcepta is migrating its SaaS solution to a REST web-services backend and a frontend built on a responsive framework.

• Work with product management to generate technical designs
• Develop, test and analyze new and current SaaS applications
• Participate in Agile standups and implement Sprint features
• Ensure Transcepta’s customer data remains private by using secure coding practices
• Optimize database queries, caching, and API response times for high-volume document processing
• Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and continuous integration/deployment processes

• Bachelor’s degree computer science/engineering. Masters preferred
• Experience with AI data extraction and prompting
• 3+ years of .Net development experience
• 1 year of SQL development experience
• SaaS application development experience a plus
• HTML5/Java script experience a plus
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

• Gets Things Done – Can manage many projects ises with the Transcepta IT team, and/or 3rd party resources to develop and maintain SaaS architecture best practices. Delight our customers with fast document throughput and unique features in our SaaS solution
• Self-starter – Doesn’t wait for management to identify problems. Anticipates issues and moves to solve them proactively
