Permit Coordinator

The Peak Gas installation is equipped for the production and injection of natural gas. The well site is located close to the PGI plant. The Gas Storage installation is equipped for the production and injection of natural gas. The connected well site is directly linked to the main installation via two 8 km pipelines. The Onshore well clusters and plants are situated in environmental, rural, and recreational areas with communities highly sensitive to pollution and damage to the landscape.

The Permit to Work Coordinator supports the administration and coordination of the PTW System for Onshore Operations to ensure the effective coordination of PTW and isolation activities.

To apply all PTW and isolation processes consistently and in compliance with company procedures that are approved by the Onshore Production Manager. Furthermore, support the onshore organization in day-to-day operational safety aspects.
Responsibilities
Being the focal point for administration, issuing and hand-out of all permits.
Works closely with the Company Rep (Shift Team Lead and Production Team Lead).
The responsible Operators will issue and close Work Permits on location if required. They will also set/remove ICC’s on request of the PTW Coordinator or STL’s.
Providing a quality check on the completion of permits and certificates prior to issue ensuring all the necessary signatures have been obtained.
Operating the “Permit Office” to reflect the current status of all permit work and isolations.
Ensuring that conflicting permits/isolations are not issued.
Ensuring that PTW updates/changes are effectively communicated.
Maintain good relationships with relevant disciplines e.g. Maintenance, in particular with the Job planners, Engineering, and Well Services.
Where necessary intervene to stop work where appropriate SHE standards are not met.
Check the worksite on a daily basis.
Assure the isolation register is up to date and that all isolations certificates are closed or kept live in accordance with the worksite.
What we search for in you
We’re happy to hear from professionals with proven experience as PTW Handler - Projects in the Petrochemical industries for several years. In this role, you'll require both Dutch and English language skills.

MVK or equivalent (or willing to complete MVK training).
Good communication skills are essential.
