Experience - 3+ Years
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 4 days onsite/week
Degree: Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
We’re looking for a Product Engineer – Powertrain Emissions to support emissions testing, validation, data analysis, calibration development, and aftertreatment performance optimization
.
- Plan and support vehicle, powertrain dynamometer, and engine dynamometer testing
- Perform emissions testing, validation, and post-test data analysis
- Identify calibration concerns and provide data-driven recommendations
- Develop, optimize, and validate emissions calibrations
- Support SULEV
30, ACCII, and Tier 4 emissions targets - Analyze emissions compliance and calibration data
- Support test planning, data acquisition, and data integrity
- Develop technical presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and documentation
- Track test vehicle configurations, hardware, fuel types, and calibration levels
- Support aftertreatment performance optimization and tailpipe emissions reduction
- 3+ years of experience in emissions and emissions testing
- Strong understanding of internal combustion engines
- Knowledge of emissions regulations, certification processes, and emissions-reduction technologies
- Experience with test planning, data acquisition, data analysis, and data management
- Experience with calibration and testing
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience managing complex technical projects
- Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of emissions/testing experience
- 5+ years of Product Development experience
- Experience solving complex engine and emissions system problems
