Job Description

We are seeking a part-time Office Assistant to support administrative and customer support tasks in the office and helpthe Office Manager. In this position, you will perform various clerical duties for the office manager and or providers including answering telephones, taking messages, scheduling appointment, collect insurance and health information, copying and creating/scanning charts, procuring officesupplies, extracting and providing reports, uploading receipts and office related functions,The role will also be responsible for data entry and proactive communication's in the office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Front desk responsibilities to support front desk staff, if required.
  • Answer and screen telephone calls in a courteous manner, and record messages for providers and other personnel.
  • Procuring and monitoring office supplies, uploading expenses receipts.
  • Provide expense reports, payroll, financial reports.
  • Support Office Manager or Office Administrator with administrative tasks.
  • Check-in patients upon arrival at the office as well as check-out upon departure.
  • Scan documents into charts in EMR.
  • Obtains patients information/medical charts from faxes and add/update in EMR.
  • Maintain patients lists for scheduling andcancellations.
  • Maintain organization and efficiency of front and back office, including office supply inventory.
  • Perform other related office tasks/duties as directed or assigned.
  • Travel to nearby satellite office locations may be required.

Requirements and

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate
  • General office, administrationor medical office experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
