Key Responsibilities- Venue Partner Relationships:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels, provide outstanding customer service, and focus on customer retention. Serve events and act as a point of escalation when needed. Identify issues and decision makers that influence contract renewal and coordinate with internal resources for renewal planning. Consult with Venue Sales Leadership on sales strategies. Participate in business review presentations. - Financial Management & Reporting:
Drive profitable operations with revenue maximization and cost controls. Manage labor, equipment sub-rentals, and other costs to meet financial goals. Utilize operational and financial reports, complete standard and ad hoc reports, and coordinate invoicing with clients. Complete accurate sales forecasts and participate in business review presentations with regional management. Manage location P&L and develop action plans to address deficiencies or grow the business.
Ensure venue partners process payments to Encore in a timely manner. - Operations Management:
Perform and direct daily floor operations including scheduling, equipment setups, operation, and strikes. Ensure timely delivery of equipment and services, in good condition and per client and venue specifications, adhering to brand standards. Anticipate equipment challenges and manage inventory levels with safety and quality assurance. Share labor and equipment efficiently within the local market. Attend operational venue meetings. - Technical Ability:
Understand technical aspects and apply troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to resolve equipment and software issues. Utilize applicable company computer systems. Serve as the on-site technician for events if necessary. - Sales Management:
Create strategies to maximize revenue per event, including upsell/cross-sell. Prepare and present compelling proposals and quotes. Attend site visits and planning meetings. Collaborate with vendors and other departments to service events. Understand event cost structures and ensure accurate CRM data and up-to-date information. Stay informed on new products and technologies and prepare reports for senior management as needed. - Customer Service:
Deliver World-Class service by cultivating relationships with customers and venue personnel. Oversee event execution personnel as needed. Exceed customer expectations, meet on-site with guests, and ensure equipment is functioning properly. Maintain a professional image consistent with company standards. - People Development:
Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Manage performance, staffing, and team development. Oversee HR activities including selection, performance management, and training. Provide coaching and training on Encore standards and systems. Implement Encore's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of audio visual experience
- 1+ years of supervisory experience
- 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- Sales experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in live environments
- Ability to complete Level 3 Skills training
- Proficiency with computer hardware and software (Microsoft Office, internet)
- Effective leadership and customer satisfaction focus
- Valid driver’s license for team members who may operate company vehicles

Hotel/convention center environment with variable temperatures, moderate noise, and exposure to high-end AV equipment and electrical components. May work at multiple hotel locations with irregular hours, on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Appearance guidelines must be followed as defined by Encore and the venue.
Other InformationSalary Pay Range: $45,956.00 - $56,296.00. Compensation determined based on location, qualifications, and experience. Some positions may include overtime, bonuses, or incentives. Encore is committed to benefits, inclusivity, and belonging.
