What You Will Do In This Role:
- You will demonstrate knowledge of all CAT Scan exam protocols for specific exams.
- You will be in charge of exam preparations and patient instructions.
- You will utilize radiation protection methods consistently and use shielding as necessary.
- You will obtain patient history and collaborate with the radiologist on proper contrast usage.
- You will be responsible for the post‑processing of data.
- You will assist the physician as necessary for all invasive procedures to provide best patient care.
- You will assist during codes.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
- Associate Degree.
- This is at our FSED.
