Registered Respiratory Therapist - PRN;
Days
Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for PRN Days shifts. The position is located at Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expressway North, Allen, TX 75013.
Work hours: PRN (as needed) 12‑hour shifts on weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

- Graduate of an AMA‑approved Respiratory Care program.
- CLIA‑AFEF compliance for foreign education equivalency.
- Critical‑care experience in ICU, ED, NICU preferred.
- RCP (Respiratory Care Practitioner) upon hire.
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) upon hire.
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) maintained quarterly.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) ICU/ED – 90 days required.
- Good verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and computer proficiency.
- Review medical records and obtain pertinent history.
- Evaluate patients using age‑appropriate assessment tests.
- Apply patient‑care interventions per protocols and priorities.
- Demonstrate competence in age‑appropriate assessment and individualized care.
- Utilize therapeutic treatment techniques tailored to patient age and wishes.
- Perform treatment procedures within professional scope.
