Experienced Data Center Technician - Will cover primarily Allen, TX location.

• Start Data - ASAP
• This is a PT ongoing assignment
• Shift - Weekends Only - Saturday/Sunday - 8 hrs per shift
• 2nd shift – 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
• Also need to be available to provide backup weekend coverage for other weekend shifts for vacations and absences
• This is a 24/7 operations so must be available on holidays if scheduled
• Must have prior experience working as a Data Center Technician

• Prior experience working weekends and or 2nd shift good to have.
• Rack and Stack
• Experience with Ticketing System
• Uses hardware tools as well as hand tools to install and de-install equipment.
• Configuring servers to enable network access for engineers.
• Provides on call support for IT equipment.
• Running hardware diagnostics and replacing failing parts in a timely manner.
• Upgrading internal system components, including CPUs, memory, hard drives, and network cables.
• Capable of installing multiple ethernet & fiber optic cables.
• Coordinate troubleshooting with on-site teams and hardware vendors as needed.
• Removes bad/obsolete cables from underneath the raised floor without impacting ongoing business operations.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment.
• Maintains the loading docks and other storage areas by organizing equipment until ready to be installed.
• Performs all activities in strict compliance with Change Management and Info Sec policies.
• Prepares for secure hardware disposal by taking inventory of failed hard drives, outdated servers and other obsoletes.
• Meet all documentation and shift hand off requirements.
