Technical Support Specialist

We are looking for a NOC Technician to join our team in Allen, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on network troubleshooting experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and keeping network operations running smoothly.

Position: Contract - W-2 only - NO SUBCONTRACTING for this client

• Monitor network performance, respond to alerts, and troubleshoot IP connectivity issues.
• Support network and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Manage incidents, changes, and problem tickets through Service Now.
• Work with engineers, field technicians, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Document outages, track incidents, and ensure timely resolution within established SLAs.
• Provide customer support and communicate updates during service-impacting events.

• At least 1 year of experience troubleshooting IP connectivity and network hardware issues.
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPN, BGP, MPLS, and SIP.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and network diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• NOC or telecommunications experience is a plus.
• CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCST/CCNA, or ITIL certification is preferred.
