We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to join our Hospice Team! As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee and lead the clinical team, coordinate care as needed, ensure compliance with all regulations and conditions of participation, and assist with admissions and PRN visits as needed. You will ensure completion of monthly reports, maintain an effective Quality Assurance and Improvement Plan, monitor clinical team documentation for accuracy and timeliness.

Facilitate ongoing community and facility relationships. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year experience working in a hospice setting, possesses excellent communication skills and has a good understanding of licensing guidelines, government reporting and regulations, and can work with a variety of people, physicians and community partners successfully.

• Oversee the hospice clinical team
• Work closely with multiple community partners and long term care facilities.
• Perform day‑to‑day oversight of general operations and correct any issues found, as appropriate
• Produce reports based on the productivity and success of the hospice agency, providing suggestions for improvement as needed
  
  Interview, hire, and train new employees

• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing/ Clinical services for a Hospice Agency
• Demonstratable experience managing a team
• Deep understanding of hospice regulations, policies and procedures
• Extensive experience with medical documentation and QA monitoring
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed
