Charge Registered Nurse (Full Time-Days) – Surgery
Work location: Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expwy North TX 75013
Work hours: Full Time – 40 Hours/Week;
Day Shift – 6:00 am – 2:30 pm with on‑call requirements
- Fast‑paced, high‑volume surgery department
- The professional nurse exhibits an understanding of basic human needs
- The professional nurse demonstrates recognition and understanding of the patient’s affiliations
- Nursing Diploma, Nursing or associate’s degree required;
Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting required
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting preferred
- Experience as a Surgical Charge Nurse leadership preferred
- RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
