Job Purpose

As a Registered Nurse, you'll join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. Your compassion and communication skills will be crucial as you focus on enhancing the patient experience. You will utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide comprehensive care while supervising team members and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care aligned with Methodist Health System's mission, vision, and values.

Job Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Additional certifications as required by the department.
Related Work Experience and Other Skills
  • At least 12 months of RN experience or completion of a Nurse Residency Program.
  • Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards.
  • Ability to handle confidential material with discretion.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This role requires significant physical activity, including standing, moving, bending, and handling equipment and patients. You will be working in an indoor environment with potential exposure to respiratory and skin irritants, as well as blood and body fluids.
