RN Med Surg Diabetic Endocrinology (Part‑time)
Medical City Dallas, a HCA Healthcare affiliate, is seeking a registered nurse to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care in our Med‑Surg Diabetic Endocrinology unit. The position is part‑time, day shift (7:00 am – 7:00 pm) with one weekend per month.
Job SummaryAs an RN, you will collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver personalized, compassionate care, advocate for patients and families, and uphold our mission of outstanding patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess patients during admission and each shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by the provider; document care administration thoroughly in the medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in case of adverse effects.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating needs.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical condition, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow‑up, ensuring understanding of complex terminology.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Associate degree acceptable for hire; BSN required within 24 months of hire.
- Current RN license in Texas or a compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- At least 1 year of acute‑care hospital experience.

Dallas, TX – Compensation: $80,168.00–$ per year.
