About the Role

The Junior Seller is an early-career sales professional responsible for driving net new logo acquisition within an assigned U.S. territory, focused on the Fin Tech sector. This role is a critical entry point into LSEG Risk Intelligence’s enterprise sales organization – designed as a senior seller in training program.

You’ll prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across a defined territory, while partnering closely with a Senior Account Executive to learn our full suite of LSEG Risk Intelligence products – including Account Verification, Identity, Sanctions Screening, and Global Risk Data Solutions.

This position is ideal for a motivated, consultative salesperson who thrives in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment and wants to grow into a full‑cycle enterprise sales role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and Hunt:
Identify, contact, and qualify potential new clients across the Fin Tech, payments, and digital banking ecosystem.
  • Territory Development:
Execute outbound strategies to build a healthy, targeted pipeline of qualified opportunities in your assigned geography.
  • Partner with Senior Sellers:
Collaborate with experienced Account Executives to progress qualified opportunities through the full sales cycle – observing and learning enterprise deal management and solution selling.
  • Industry Engagement:
Research market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory drivers impacting Fin Tech, identity, and risk compliance landscapes.
  • CRM Excellence:
Maintain accurate and timely activity, lead, and pipeline updates in Salesforce.
  • Solution Familiarity:
Develop deep knowledge of LSEG’s Risk Intelligence portfolio including:
    • GIACT Account Verification and Authentication
    • Identity Verification & Global Identity Solutions
    • Sanctions, PEP, and Adverse Media Screening
    • Global Account Verification (gAV)
  • Collaboration:

Partner cross‑functionally with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to align resources and improve conversion rates.
What Success Looks Like
  • Builds a consistent outbound cadence and achieves monthly pipeline creation goals.
  • Demonstrates strong product and compliance knowledge across LSEG Risk Intelligence offerings.
  • Successfully transitions qualified leads to partnered Senior Sellers for closure.
  • Develops professional confidence and readiness to advance into a full‑cycle seller role within 12–18 months.
Qualifications
  • 1‑3 years of experience in B2B technology or Fin Tech sales, preferably in risk, compliance, or payments.
  • Proven experience in prospecting, outbound calling, and lead qualification.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a consultative sales mindset.
  • Interest in learning complex regulatory and compliance‑driven solutions.
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and modern sales tools.
  • Motivated by results, accountability, and professional growth within a structured sales organization.
