Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Controller:
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Assist with preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reporting
• Partner with operations and department leaders to provide financial analysis and business insights
• Help maintain internal controls and coordinate audit and compliance activities
• Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and efficiency initiatives within the accounting function
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members while supporting the Controller on key initiatives
Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibility, preferably within manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls
• CPA or CPA track preferred
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing operations strongly preferred
