Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Surgical Intensive Care Unit specializing in the care of adult and geriatric trauma patients. This unit also accommodates pediatric, orthopedic, burn, and surgical overflow patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to trauma patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintain patient records accurately through EPIC charting.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current PA or Compact nursing license required.

• Two years of nursing experience in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit is preferred.

• BLS and NIHSS certifications are required.

• Experience with trauma patients and electronic charting systems, specifically EPIC, is essential.

• Ability to float between units and work every weekend and alternating holidays.
