** Allentown, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license.

** CPR Certification (B205):
** Candidates must possess a valid CPR certification. Free training is provided by Allied Universal to ensure all employees are equipped with lifesaving skills.

** Customer Service Experience (B219):
** Previous experience in customer service is crucial for roles that require interaction with clients and the public.

** Lift More Than 20 lbs (B209):
** Candidates should be physically capable of lifting items weighing more than 20 pounds, as this may be necessary for certain job functions.

** Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
** Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

** Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
** Candidates must possess experience in operating and managing alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm activation, deactivation, and troubleshooting procedures.

** Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
** Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize digital communication tools effectively.

** Valid Driver's License
** Candidates must possess a valid  driver's license that complies with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This includes:

+ A current and valid license without any restrictions that would impede the ability to perform job duties.

+ No significant traffic violations or driving offenses that could affect employment eligibility.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors at a technology and communications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.

+ Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation in accordance with site requirements.

+ Communicate professionally with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, incidents, and/or operational needs.
