As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

* Candidates must possess the following qualifications before commencing employment:

** Valid Driver's License:
** All candidates must hold a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require driving as part of job responsibilities.

* ** Additional Qualifications (Beneficial to Position)*
* While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly beneficial and may enhance a candidate's application:

** Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
** Experience with access control systems and badge management is advantageous for positions involving security and facility management.

** Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
** Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential for roles that require digital communication and data management.

** CPR Certification (B205):
** Certification in CPR is beneficial for positions that involve health and safety responsibilities.

** Customer Service Experience (B219):
** Previous experience in customer service is advantageous for roles that require interaction with clients and customers.

** RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* + Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle

+ Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards

+ Sound alarms or calls police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons

+ Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles

+ Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits

+ Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements

+ Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post

+ Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

+ Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders

** QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):*
* + Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

+ Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws;
