Maintenance Technician

Our client, Protective Foam Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting day-to-day facility readiness and equipment reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical mindset, a safety-first approach, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems with care and precision.

** Sunday to Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.

** What's the Job?*
* + Perform work involving two or more maintenance or craft occupations to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and the facility structure in repair.

+ Use hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical/electronic testing devices to complete maintenance and repairs.

+ Carry out routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly and building systems operating efficiently.

+ Diagnose mechanical problems by reviewing blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs, then determine and execute the correct repair approach.

+ Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.

** What's Needed?*
* + Strong technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, heating, and related infrastructure).

+ Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations, with a consistent commitment to following Environmental and Safety policies.

+ Excellent planning and leadership abilities, with an eye for detail during inspections, repairs, and installations.

+ Computer savvy;
Information Technology training is a plus.

+ High school diploma; a degree from a vocational school will be a plus. Professional certifications (e.g., CMRP or HVAC certified) are preferred.
