Position for Pediatric Associates of Springfield. The Medical Assistant performs clinical and clerical functions, assisting with patient care, documentation, and patient flow in the clinic.

• Take vital signs, weight, height, and assist with procedures as needed.
• Document patient encounters in EPIC to ensure timely provider dictation and encounter closure.
• Manage patient flow, chaperoning, room stocking, ordering tests and supplies.
• Provide services delegated by RN, nurse practitioner, or physician.
• Collaborate with other department personnel to maintain efficient patient flow and quality customer service.

Full time, 32 hours per week. 4 days a week (8 hour days). No weekends.

• High school diploma (HSD) or GED required.
• Completion of a Medical Assisting program required.

• CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) required.
• CPR certification preferred at hire; must be obtained within 2 weeks of start date.
