The department provides diagnostic CT imaging services within the healthcare facility to patients in need.

The technologist works under the direction of a radiologist, performing diagnostic CT procedures with high quality. The technologist will perform a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply the imaging equipment to produce high-quality images. Responsible for designated areas or procedures as requested.

• Maintain current licenses and certifications as required.
• Complete and adhere to knowledge gained through annual employee education.
• Ability to meet and interact with the public in a mature, courteous, and professional manner.
• Ability to operate equipment within the department.
• Maintain Aultman attendance standards.

• Comfortable speaking and communicating with colleagues and patients.
• Detail oriented.
• Communicate effectively.
• Adaptability to changing work environment or needs.
• Computer, keyboard skills preferred.

• Identify each patient and review physician orders for accuracy.
• Properly position patients for high image quality.
• Medical record documentation in HIS and RIS or systems required per department.
• Review each examination for quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and stock supplies.
• Communicate pertinent information to supervisor or responsible individual.
• Explain exams/procedures to patients and address any questions or concerns.
• Adhere to Aultman policies and procedures.
• No direct reports for this position.

• Hours may vary as required by job. Weekends and holidays per facility need.
• Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.

• Cross training in areas of the department as required.
• Colleagues may be assigned to different locations within the foundation.
