Operational

Hours:

MWF 4:00am–9:00pm, TTHS 4:00am–6:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Serve patients at Alliance Community Dialysis Center as a Dialysis Technician (PCT).
  • Work shifts 3–4 days per week with at least two Saturdays per month and be willing to start as early as 3:00 am.
  • Perform direct patient care, including preparing the water room, mixing bicarbonate, checking water for chlorine, calibrating tools, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis, measuring and recording vitals, and documenting observations.
  • Work long shifts (up to 12 + hours) on your feet, lift 5–50 lb, and perform repetitive standing, sitting, stooping, walking, stretching, and reaching.
  • Use computer and peripheral equipment to meet quality and safety goals.
  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership; work under RN supervision.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and patient education on kidney dialysis topics.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable, eager to learn, caring, comfortable with early shifts, long hours, and fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles and mixing acids/alkalis.
  • Flexible schedule to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical and mental stamina for long hours (12+ hr shifts) and system lifting.
  • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory.
  • Healthcare experience preferred: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Phlebotomy certification, or equivalent.
