We are excited to add an Assembler to the MAC Trailer Team. This position utilizes and implements acquired mounting and assembly knowledge, experience, and skill to assemble/mount parts and products for the tractor trailer industry.
Shift hours:
Monday – Thursday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm with additional overtime. Wage Range: $18.75 – $26.00 per hour.

What you will do- Perform and abide by safety policies and procedures while performing tasks and related assignments.
- Review specification documentation and information related to assignments to ensure products are manufactured to customer specifications and MAC quality standards.
- Perform a wide variety of work assignments, including carrying aluminum and steel parts, cleaning products, mounting tires, applying stickers and tape, drilling, bolting, installing components, reading and using tape measures, sawing aluminum material with a circular saw, and using an impact wrench and other air tools.
- Complete daily custom assembly tasks within designated time requirements.
- Perform, understand, comprehend, and communicate basic math functions related to measurement.
- Take parts to lines, pull parts for all lines, and mount tires as a substitute for warehouse positions.
- Communicate issues of concern and other pertinent information that affects productive completion of quality product, schedule, and safety to supervisor.
- Perform all other assigned duties.
- Clean work areas during and at the end of the shift.
- Organize and restock needed parts and materials.
- Assist other employees as needed and instructed.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Basic math skills.
- Ability to read and understand basic measurements and use basic lengths of measurement.
- Oral comprehension and expression skills for listening to and understanding verbal information and communicating effectively.
- Ability to concentrate on a task over time without distraction.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret detailed drawings and measurements.
- Ability to communicate, abide by, verify, and respond to safety policies, procedures, and concerns.
- Ability to work any shift based on production need.
- Ability to work assigned shift and/or extended shift hours.
- Ability to work alone or with a team.
- Mechanical experience is preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of tractor trailer building is preferred.
- Ability to use close vision.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
- Ability to quickly move your hand and arm to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.
- Ability to physically inspect own work and perform work in various positions and heights.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift various materials including aluminum, steel, and parts.
- Ability to successfully maneuver, lift, bend, kneel, and stoop.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
