What

You Will Do
  • Perform and abide by safety policies and procedures while completing tasks and related assignments.
  • Review specification documentation and information to ensure products meet customer specifications and MAC quality standards.
  • Carry out a wide variety of assembly tasks, including carrying parts, cleaning products, mounting tires, applying stickers and tape, drilling, bolting, installing components, using tape measures, sawing aluminum with a circular saw, and using impact wrenches and other air tools.
  • Complete daily custom assembly tasks within designated time requirements.
  • Apply basic math functions related to measurement.
  • Move parts to lines, pull all parts for lines, and mount tires as required.
  • Communicate issues or concerns that affect product quality, schedule, and safety to supervisors.
  • Perform all other assigned duties.
  • Maintain clean work areas during and at the end of the shift.
  • Organize and restock needed parts and materials.
  • Assist other employees as needed.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.
Who You Are
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read and understand basic measurements.
  • Oral comprehension and expression skills to listen to, understand, and convey information.
  • Concentration on tasks over time without distraction.
  • Ability to interpret detailed drawings and measurements.
  • Compliance with safety policies, procedures, and concerns.
  • Flexibility to work any shift based on production needs.
  • Capacity to work assigned shift and/or extended hours.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team.
Education and Experience
  • Mechanical experience preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of tractor trailer building preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Use of close vision.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Manipulate small objects requiring precise finger movements.
  • Rapid hand and arm movements to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Keep hands and arms steady while moving.
  • Inspect own work and perform tasks in various positions and heights.
  • Push, pull, and lift materials including aluminum, steel, and parts.
  • Maneuver, bend, kneel, and stoop as needed.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment.
