Overall Job Summary
The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute start to finish variable tasks such as planograms, and provide support for merchandising, fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member interacts with customers and colleagues, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain regular attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts and be available for varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
- Communicate with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and solutions.
- Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely.
- Maintain visual merchandise standards.
- Perform store-specific measurements and layout initiatives.
- Complete accurate cycle counts.
- Execute Tractor Way top cap process.
- Hang store signage.
- Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
- Ensure planogram integrity through detailed recovery and review.
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through the GURA approach:
- Greet the Customer.
- Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants.
- Recommend Product Solutions.
- Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
- Ensure the customer has a legendary shopping experience.
- Provide peak coverage as needed, e.g., Day After Thanksgiving.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior retail and/or merchandising experience.
- Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict.
- Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments with minimal assistance.
- Work may vary; generally no less than 4 hours and may exceed 8 hours.
- Travel between store locations in personal vehicle required.
- Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise and hard surfaces.
- Promote a safe and productive work environment for team members and customers.
- Travel within district as required.
- Push and pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment.
- Lift or reach merchandise overhead occasionally.
- Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb ladders frequently.
- Operate store equipment such as computer, cash register, and other store apparatus.
- Read, write, and count accurately for documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Handle contact with birds/poultry when required.
- Complete required training.
- Operate equipment including dolly, hand truck, forklift, baler, and computer.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, drive a vehicle, stand, walk, kneel, and reach overhead.
- Perform throughout the store and outdoor areas safely.
- Position is non-sedentary.
