: $13.00 to $20.00 per hour

This role is designed for external retail assistant managers and store managers interested in fast-tracking into a Store Management position. A minimum of 1 year retail management experience is required.

Potential Earnings
:
Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $1.00 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Store Manager Trainee with a minimum of six months of Store Management experience. The Store Manager Trainee is accountable for day-to-day store operations and promoting a positive/productive environment. This role will partner with the Store Manager to lead and develop store employees, recruit and retain top talent, maximize financial goals, and manage Customer Relations / Customer Satisfaction.

This position sets the tone for a customer-centric environment.

Alongside the Store Manager, this position analyzes store financial statements to ensure financial goals are met. You will commit to the asset protection program, promote the business, and target new customer acquisitions. Employees work with jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

This position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a bonus based on store performance. Actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues promptly.
  • Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
  • Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
  • Open and close the store; manage cash drawers and merchandise; ensure procedures protect assets.
  • Ensure asset protection through inventory control and safety procedures; manage loans.
  • Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store systems, and enterprise reporting.
  • Evaluate store financials and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
  • Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
  • Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to maintain value and integrity of loans.
  • Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development as requested.
  • Communicate clearly with employees to convey the store mission and profit objectives.
  • Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
  • Assist as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting) as required by law.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise others.
  • Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
