Highways Quantity Surveyor

We are recruiting for an experienced Highways Quantity Surveyor to join a busy transport and infrastructure team delivering a major highways capital programme. This is an Outside IR35 contract offering an immediate start, with the opportunity for long-term work on externally funded projects.  Location Coventry Hybrid working Minimum of 2 days per week based in Coventry Travel to project sites required  Contract Details 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:30am 5:00pm Initial contract until 24 September 2026 Externally funded projects are expected to continue until 31 July 2027 , so there is potential for the contract to be extended.  

Pay £43.47 per hour PAYE  

The Role You will provide specialist commercial support to ensure the successful delivery of highway and transport infrastructure projects, maintaining strong commercial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

Commercial management of highways and transport capital projects Cost planning, forecasting and budget management Contract administration and procurement support Valuations, variations and final accounts Managing project costs, risks and financial reporting Working closely with project managers, engineers and contractors Ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget  About You The successful candidate will have:
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within highways, civil engineering or infrastructure projects Strong commercial and contractual knowledge Experience managing capital works programmes Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites  Apply If you are an experienced Highways Quantity Surveyor looking for your next contract opportunity, we'd like to hear from you.
