Class Teacher - St Mungo's RC Primary School

Working with a year stage of the school, the teacher will teach and support the learning of pupils in accordance with the policies of the school. Teaching will consist of classes at all levels and stages. Success in the teaching responsibilities of the post will be determined by the improved outcomes, participation and successes achieved by the young people for whom the teacher is responsible.

As a temporary teacher until Summer 2027, the main responsibilities include teaching classes at all levels and stages, supporting pupil learning, and contributing to the overall educational goals of the school. Success is measured by improved student outcomes and engagement.

Application requirements:
Applicants should be suitably qualified GTCS‑registered teachers and must obtain approval from the Catholic Church. The post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007; a PVG scheme check is required prior to offer. Candidates with a salary over £38,000 may be required to pay the application cost, deducted from first pay.
