Ready to join a global leader driving real change in the energy transition? We’re looking for an Electrical Field Engineer to support large-scale industrial operations across the UK and Ireland.

In this role, you’ll take the lead on maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning and upgrades across a wide range of electrical systems—keeping critical plants running safely, efficiently and reliably.

What you’ll be doing

Responding to electrical breakdowns, diagnosing faults and getting plants back online quickly
Carrying out planned maintenance, major overhauls and shutdown support
Overseeing contractors to ensure safe, high-quality work
Supporting installation, commissioning and acceptance of new equipment
Delivering technical reports, recommendations and long-term solutions
Suggesting improvements to enhance safety, reliability and performance
What we’re looking for

A formal electrical apprenticeship + HNC (or equivalent)
Strong experience with motors, switch gear, protective relays, HV systems, controls, transformers, and generators
Ability to read control drawings and work independently in fast-paced environments
Hands-on troubleshooting capability + strong technical judgement
Flexibility to travel across the UK/Ireland and respond to plant needs
Experience in industrial gases, petrochem, heavy industry or similar is a bonus
