Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a pharmacy assistant to join our healthcare teams in Forth Valley Prisons. We are recruiting dynamic, compassionate and enthusiastic pharmacy assistants who want to be part of our multi disciplinary, integrated team. You will be a vital part of a holistic service, making a significant contribution to the health care needs, outcomes and experience of a complex and vulnerable population whilst working in partnership with the Scottish prison Service.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a modern and innovative healthcare service.
- Provide pharmacy support in a pharmaceutical setting with a focus on patient care and service delivery.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Support development of the service and participate in rotation across the service area as required.
- Previous experience in a pharmaceutical setting.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery.
- Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or eligibility to join.
- The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support a holistic healthcare service in Forth Valley Prisons.
