Starting at £13.45 per hour, rising to £13.67 after probation. Opportunity to progress to £14.15 at your own pace.

As an Autism Practitioner, you’ll:

• Support autistic individuals across a mixture of outreach, housing support, and residential services to lead happy and fulfilling lives.

• Develop individuals' independence, confidence, and everyday life skills, including managing and maintaining their own tenancy, household tasks, cooking, budgeting, and paying bills.

• Support people to build confidence in relationships, access groups, activities, and local amenities, and become more involved in their communities.

• Support individuals to achieve personal goals, while promoting their voice, choice in all aspects of their lives.

• Personal care is an essential part of the role and will vary depending on individual needs. This may include support with toileting, medication, bathing, and oral hygiene.

This is a 24/7 service, and you'll work a fixed rota covering a mix of morning, day, evening, sleepover and weekend shifts. In some services, 7am starts are an essential requirement of the rota and applicants must be able to accommodate these shifts.
