Scottish Autisms vision is an inclusive world where difference is embraced and autistic people thrive. Established in 1968 by a group of parents, the organisation has gone from strength to strength and is now the largest provider of autism specific services in Scotland as well as being a leading authority and advocate for good autism practice.

Scottish Autism has its own innovative Centre for Practice, Policy & Research and we have a strong national and international reputation for our expertise and change-making approach.

Two new trustees are needed to strengthen and contribute to our existing board and support our management team, in realising our charitable objectives and strategic priorities.

We will provide tailored support and development for new trustees, and you will also work alongside a number of experienced Board Members who can share learning and experience.

Successful candidates will have some of the desirable criteria noted below:

Strategic financial planning experience including financial management and compliance

Strategic people/human resource experience

We welcome applications from autistic people and/or people with lived experience
