WORKSHOP MECHANICAL FITTER

ENGINEERING INDUSTRY

Workshop - ALLOA

To carry out mechanical fitting activities associated with the overhaul, repair and testing of rotating equipment, predominantly pump assemblies. Knowledge of centrifugal pump overhaul and maintenance is desirable.

• 5+ years’ experience in working with rotating machinery, primarily pumps and motors.
• 5+ years’ workshop experience in the disassembly, reporting and assembly of rotating machinery.
• Experience working within a workshop environment.
• Experience with PME (precision measuring equipment).

• Time served craftsperson within a mechanical discipline. Educated to NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance
